Art By Larysa

Larysa paints glassware, ornaments and decorative pieces in Maryland, drawing on the flowers and botanical forms of Ukrainian Petrykivka painting.

Petrykivka is a decorative folk-art tradition named for its home village in Ukraine. It brings imagined flowers, leaves and flowing patterns to everyday objects. In Larysa’s hands, those motifs wind around a wine glass, brighten a pitcher, or turn an ornament into a keepsake.

Alongside painted glass, her collection includes fused-glass pieces with a different kind of color and movement.

Choose a design from the collection or ask about something personal. Ready-made and made-to-order options depend on the piece; Larysa will confirm what is possible.
